Painting Class with Lisa Treichel May 4

Join local Lucketts hobby artist Lisa Treichel to learn to paint a beautiful pair of songbirds, and take home your one of a kind creation. This workshop is designed so that two people can paint complementary canvases that can be hung side by side to make one image. It is a wonderful project for parent/child, partners, or friends. It can also be done as a solo project. Each painter pays one registration fee.
This workshop is appropriate for all skill levels; no prior artistic experience necessary. All materials included. Please wear clothing that can get paint on it. Click on link below to register.

Peonies Oil Painting Workshop May 18 & 19

Painting flowers from life offers the artist an opportunity to “level up” because it is only through direct observation and contemplation of our subject that we can begin to understand their nature. Simply put - you cannot paint or conceive what you do not yet understand.
Join me for this weekend workshop perfectly timed to paint one of the queens of the the springtime garden, the ephemeral peony. I will teach all the basics of painting and drawing from life as well as wade into more sublime effects the peony offers such as transparency and subtle color transitions.
This adult class is open to all levels from beginner to advanced. Mature Teens also welcome!

Kids Realistic Painting Summer Camp with Suzanne Lago Arthur June 17 - June 21

Does your creative child want to learn how to paint realistically? This weeklong summer camp taught by award winning artist, Suzanne Lago Arthur is the perfect introduction! Campers will learn the fundamentals in drawing, color theory and painting technique in watercolor, gouache and acrylic in this fun camp. A daily packed snack is encouraged. Tuition includes all necessary art materials. Ages 8 - 11. Mature 7 year-olds also welcome.

Teen Realistic Painting Summer Workshop June 17 - June 21

Teens will love this weeklong realistic painting workshop taught by award winning artist, Suzanne Lago Arthur! Perfect for the beginner to more advanced teen artist. Topics covered will include drawing, color theory and techniques in watercolor, gouache and acrylic painting. Tuition includes all necessary art materials. Ages: 12 -16.
